Wake Me Up Music Goes Acoustic
23 FEBRUARY 2006 0800PM
$12 First Drink Entry

SURREAL
Surreal delivers a passionate and heartfelt punch to ears that are hungry
for honesty, both in words and music. Made up of 5 members whose musical
backgrounds are as wide as they are extreme, Surreal shatters the textbook
definitions of genres, only to conjure something that is undeniably, a genre
by its own.

SET FOR GLORY
Set For Glory is a young band that is making quite a buzz in the local scene
in Singapore. With an average age of eighteen, the band consists of Nicolas
Hartsuiker (Vocals & Guitar), Faris Shafie, (Bass & Vocals), Titus Tay (Drums), & Sameer Sadhu (Guitar). Fueled by their energetic stage performances, and a passionate love for music, the members of the band come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures stretching continents from Europe to Asia.

AND SPECIAL GUEST!

PLAINSUNSET

Plainsunset was formed in 1994 by 4 guys who were into alternative music and
wanted to create their own brand of music. The first EP is entitled “Runaway” and was released by Straits Records in 1999. After playing many shows at the Substation, Youth Park, HMV, Far East Square, Zouk Club, Bar None, The Esplanade ... etc, a new EP called “Love Songs For The Emotionally Wounded” was born. It was released by Wake Me Up Music. For the release of this EP, they toured New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and played shows here in Singapore. Their last EP before they broke up is called “The Gift”. It was released under Wake Me Up Music. It is a thank you gift to all their friends and fans who’ve been supporting them all these years. Played their last show in early 2004. 2006 welcomes back the brotherhood of the sunset.
