I have acquired a 5 port 10/100 Network Switching Hub.

PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS HOW I DID THIS.

This means that future LAN party venues could be at other places, ( LAN@Boon's in the near future? >:] ) or LAN@Edd's IV can be further expanded to support 5+5=10 connections (8 PCs/laptops?)

Hey guys. This is a serious moment.

Last Sunday (29th Aug), we had a dinner outing @ J8. The dinner itself was ok, but there were a few serious issues among us that we clearly have to talk about:

ORGANISATION
Before the actual outing, some organisational work was done. Boon was the organiser. He started to call up people. Some of the people who were called did the usual "Whose going? Is ____ going?" routine. (chip, edmund, jamie, remy)

OK. Guys, I know you all don't want to go out on a crappy/sian/lame/fucked-up trip. But please try to give the organiser a thought & not be overreliant on the number of people going.

The organiser will provide you as much info as possible. But in the meantime, give a YES or NO. If you are interested & "unconfirmed at the moment", please CONFIRM YOUR SCEHEDULE & get back to the organiser ASAP.

LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS
Compare these 2 examples:

1. Jamie had previously "confirmed" she was going, but cancelled at the last minute. Reason: "Dinner with dad instead." Ok cool.

2. Chip also cancelled @ the last minute. No clear reason given. ???? WTF?

If something important suddenly came up, its OK to cancel. But please at least tell us clearly why you're not coming.
