This entry's dedicated to my good friend Boon. As of now he is going through his first days of life as an army regular. He went in on 07th April 2006. While for most of us Singaporean men NS life is just a temporary (annoying?) phase to bear and endure through, Boon will be stepping into it as a career, with a different mindset and priorities to think of.
When most of the good old gang went in earlier, Boon's already been around to listen and help whenever he could. I think the rest of the guys share my sentiment when I say that we appreciate your companionship through the difficult days when life in camp gets on the nerves. We'll be there for you too as you readjust to the way The System works.
Be seeing you when you come out from your 2 weeks confinement period on 22 April, botak! >:]
